Child, family and pet portrait photography
I provide the very best outdoor or location family and pets portraits and have become known for my happy and natural emotional images.
Outdoor family photography
I live on Hampshire, Berkshire and Surrey border, South of England where I can travel easy to locations like South West London, West London and Guildford or to the Hayling Island seaside. Richmond Park in London, Guildford Canal and Bournemouth seaside are my favourite locations in winter or summer. No problems in bad or cold weather - I am visiting my clients at their cosy homes or meeting them at Wisley Gardens Woking Glasshouse or in London Kew Gardens.
I am always discovering new and beautiful locations and keep my eye out for beautiful and interesting locations so have plenty of ideas for your session regardless of where you are in South of London. Of course I welcome your suggestions too!
What time of day?
My sessions take place around as early or as late in the day as possible because that's when the light is soft and pretty and golden. I keep a close eye on the weather as our family photo sessions approaches and will suggest a backup date in case of bad weather. Family photo sessions in cold weather most of the time is a very popular option in Christmas time.
More about the session
The session fee or creative fee pays for the time photographing you and your family,my travel and preparation time, image retouching and other process. Session fees does not include any Fine Art Wall Prints or albums. Beautiful custom artwork prints or albums can all be purchased after your session on the presentation day. Contact me if you would like to know more about the session here.
What is your style of family photography?
I am known for my ability to create a natural and emotional images that is full of your, your children and your pet personality. I like pastels and bright happy colours, whether on a dusky summer evening (even early morning), or early on a frosty winter morning. I specialise in natural light outdoor and indoor portrait photography in natural and urban environments. Can use light as needed as the days are getting shorter in a cold season.
Usually I have a 30 min in person consultation time with my families on a separate day before the photo session where you can see my work samples, can pay session fee and choose one or several of my custom wall Artwork or albums.
I have a very relaxed style of family photography and will let things unfold naturally (whilst still keeping a game plan in mind!). I like to create a story with my photography session star Felix, the teddy bear and other styled details and while children are involved in activities they are the most relaxed and intrigued in the game or story of the day. However, I am happy to give as much gentle direction as needed in some situations. I will usually suggest activities, such as playing with your pet or parents playing with a their children - whatever works to keep kids engaged and capture natural expressions!
What happens next?
A selection of high-resolution images from the shoot will be carefully edited in about a week or two, depends how busy I am with my sessions at that time, and professionally retouched. I will invite you to meet me in person viewing session where you can choose your images to be converted into beautiful Fine Art Wall portraits or albums. Bring some napkins as viewing session can be very emotional...
I am passionate about creating beautiful wall art for your home; I believe that photographs of your loved ones should not live as jpegs on your computer, only to eventually get lost on an old hard drive somewhere! I offer beautiful luxury prints on museum quality fine art papers which will last a lifetime and a lifetime of your children.
